I am in my last year in the Specialized Honours Psychology program at York University, looking to further develop my research background and contribute to ongoing research within my areas of interest. I am currently conducting an undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Dr. Karen Fergus.

I am pursuing graduate studies in Clinical Psychology, with a special interest in the area of abnormal psychology. I am efficient, ambitious, and can adapt to a variety of roles.

mental disorders, coping and resilience, trauma, client resistance/ambivalence, substance abuse, group behaviour, bereavement, forensic psychology

Dr. Karen Fergus, York University – Research Assistant
(May 2014 – present)
• Participated in presenting research methodology to clinical team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
• Collected data to examine the processes that underlie couples' successful adjustment to breast cancer
• Recruited patients for study participation

Dr. Henny Westra, York University – Research Assistant
(February 2012 – present)
• Assessed mechanisms of change in the therapeutic relationship using psychotherapy process coding systems
• Independently completed project involving coding selected episodes of client-centred forms of psychotherapy
• As part of the coding team, coded therapist adherence to client-centred forms of psychotherapy
• 1 of 5 students selected from a pool of 70, having reached criterion in coding system
